Brian's 50th in Denver!

Six days after we got back from Seaside, I headed to Denver to meet up with Sarah, Brian, and Dad to celebrate - just the 4 of us - Brian turning 50!!

Saturday night we had a wonderful Mexican dinner and then checked out the Denver Underground.

Mass Sunday Morning was beautiful!

We couldn't have picked a better weather weekend for Denver - it was GORGEOUS and highs in the upper 70's and lows in the 60s all 3 days we were there! We stayed in a loft condo downtown and walked EVERYWHERE! It was so fun!

Tulips spotted downtown.

After mass, played some mid-day Pickleball. It was SO FUN! Brian was my partner and gave me some great lessons. We won against Sarah and Dad - but they obviously were going a little easy on me. :)

Coffee stop at this converted old fire station into Coffee Shop.

Everything was starting to bloom in Denver!

Sunday night we walked to the Denver Nuggets game after a wonderful Thai dinner -

Denver Nuggets against the Golden State Warriors (Brian's favorite team)!

It was an exciting game!

Monday morning we got up early to hike outside of Golden.

The weather was just gorgeous!

Dad continues to amaze us all at 74, jogging down the mountain.

Monday afternoon, after a wonderful Greek lunch, Dad and I took the train from Union Station to the airport. It was a wonderful 3 days, just the 4 of us! We missed our spouses, and Mom, of course - but it was really fun celebrating Brian all weekend long!

Our Last Day

We spent the entire afternoon at the beach trying to soak up every last bit of it -

When we finally left the beach, Kate begged me to take her to the pool for a little bit. Packing was the last thing on our minds -

Molly and I showered quickly and walked the beach before Mike and Kate made it for our last sunset walk of the trip -

We found lots of shells and treasures . . .

More little bird prints -

It's been such a relaxing week, and wonderful vacation.

One last look . . .

Walking home after dinner one last time.
We love you Seaside and will be back again!

Sisters in Seaside.

The last day in Seaside the girls planned their morning just the two of them on their own - they got up super early to watch the sunrise over the ocean together, then bikes to breakfast and exploring, shopping, chocolate covered bananas and more!  I love that they stopped at the Photo Booth and got these pix to capture this memory together. Makes my heart so happy to know they will always have each other. Love them to the moon!

Family Sunset Walks

Every night we've taken a walk along the beach around sunset and walk barefoot on the sand. It's my favorite things to do before dinner each night and makes me never want to leave!

Scenes from Seaside

Our yellow beach house for the week!

The Main area of Seaside . . .

Our favorite little shopping area -

The water is just so clear and beautiful!!
We are loving life - I never want to leave . . .

Tupolo Street is where we walk back from the beach -

Then a couple blocks over is Rosewalk - little culdesac where our beach house was.

Mike and I had the room upstairs - which has this cute little lighthouse area - we ate a couple meals up here and from up here you can see the ocean - the girls loved it.
