Our Week in Pix!

Kate's first time at Camp Tekakwitha at Prairie Star Ranch - although she has technically been there twice before with all of us for Family Camp. This was her first time on her own! 3 days and 2 nights on her own! We arrived EARLY Monday morning for check in!

Found her bunkhouse -

Making her bed and getting organized!

Roommates with 7 other girls in her room -
grateful her friend Ruby is one of them!

Pix with Counselor . . .

SO EXCITED for them! Wish I was going to camp!!
Have fun girls! See you Wednesday night!

This week's flower crop -

Mike and I introduced the girls to the old school Yogurt shop from the  2000's- they had never been (or at least don't remember when they were everywhere when Molly was 3 years old!)

Kate loves to hit the tennis ball to Bear in the yard . . .

And after she got home from camp - some friend time with Victoria - and they ALWAYS want to play with Grandma JoJo's purses/heels . . .

Kate played in a tennis tournament with her friend Cece.

A few Royals games under our belt so far this summer . . .

Bear was spoiled by Grandpa Don and now wants to play outside with us ALL DAY LONG.

The girls talked me into buying Starbucks refresher
ingredients to make fun drinks at home this summer . . .

Garden is growing!

Pool is out! Music is pumping!

Tried to make Homemade Pickles!

Kate's been attending some Club Volleyball Open Houses to see if it's a fit.

Molly's been attending St. Michael's Youth Group Activities on Sunday nights - loves meeting so many new kids her age and older who share the same Catholic faith.

More Adventuring in Washington D.C.!

We had our evenings free and we made the most of them - scootering, metro'ing and walking all over the city every night!

Checking out the White House at night . . .

A friend recommended Filomena's Restaurant in Georgetown and it was spectacular - fresh homemade pasta!

I remembered how much I LOVED Georgetown when I was nearby at American University for a summer - and it didn't disappoint. Just as charming as I remember almost 30 years ago!

Love the HISTORY and charm EVERYWHERE you look.

We went to the Braves/Nationals game and it was a beautiful night for a ball game!

The beautiful clouds were a little distracting to me while watching the game . . . .

"Mike, do you think people think I'm in the FBI?"
"No, Jenny - people in the FBI don't wear FBI hats."

When in DC, the mascots represent.

Again with the clouds! What game?

So grateful to my Dad "Grandpa Don" for coming to KC to watch the girls and Bear. They had a fun time with him, and Bear got spoiled rotten!
