The Wizard of Oz with Molly

Molly and I have been reading the Wizard of Oz chapter book together at night for a few weeks now and we LOVE it - it is so so so much better than the movie! It's so hard to put it down each night as we get caught up in the story so much. We saw that the local high-school was putting on the play this weekend - so she and I made it a date! 

This girl loves live theatre and checking out the programs (pictures of the actresses without their costumes) before the show!

Cure' Soire'e

Friday night was our Annual Cure' of Ars School Auction (Cure' Soire'e). It's so fun and all the proceeds go to Molly's school so it's for a great cause - "It's for the kids!" 

My friend, Ali, was holding this sweet little puppy to be auctioned off and I just admit I was VERY tempted to bring home a real life "Toto" for the girls!  He was the cutest!!!!!

Art Class

Molly and Kate took an Art Class with friends yesterday and they both LOVED it!

Kate added tissue paper to hers .. .

Molly added sand  to the mountain she painted and tissue paper to her grass and trees -

My 42nd.

42 years. Wahoo! Molly did not have Kindergarten on my birthday as it fell on President's Day Monday this year!  I woke up to this beautiful heart garland Molly made for me covering the whole house!  "Over 100 Hearts, Mom!" - It took her a long time to make and it was beautiful!  

I asked the girls what they wanted to and they said ROLLER SKATE!! 

We had so much FUN!

The Krantz Family met us there too and then we all went out to lunch!

Tacos for dinner and Energy Balls (from Mike) for dessert! My favorite. 

I feel so blessed at 42!  Here's to the next trip around the sun!
