Omaha . . .

Just a few photos from our week in Omaha last week . . . Molly went to the gym with Grandma Pat one day and she had soo much fun! The last photo is of dad using the deli sandwich tray lid as a sled around Grandma's kitchen--as you can see it is time to trim Molly's bangs AGAIN! Her hair is out of control!! :)

Molly - Pulling Up!

Molly is pulling up on everything she can these days and she thinks she is BIG STUFF. It is so fun to see her face when she does this on her own--as she is just SO PROUD of herself--it is really cute! These photos were taken a couple weeks ago after nap time. This past week in Omaha she was pulling up on everything she could - the ottoman, coffee table, Grandpa's leg . . She looks so funny standing up--as she is only 16 lbs but SO STRONG! The onesie she is wearing in this photo is size 6 months - to help you get an idea of her tiny size! She is our little Mighty Mouse!

Thank You.

To all our friends and family who have showered us with love and kindness this past week - Thank you sooo much. Thank you for all the food, flowers, meals, cards, phone calls, visits and prayers--your enormous generosity has meant so much both to us and the extended McGinnis family this past week. We can feel your love.

Deanna Rose Farmstead!

We took Molly to the Deanna Rose Farmstead Sunday morning for her 1st time! It was a BEAUTIFUL Indian Summer day with a cool breeze in the air! Molly LOVED seeing and petting all the animals! We thought she might be too young to really enjoy it--but she was going CRAZY seeing everything!

The bunnies were still sleeping!

Crazy turkeys!

Cousin Vaughn came too and helped feed the animals!

Molly loved the baby goats . . .

The chickens and roosters were COCKLE A DOODLE DOO'ING and Molly yelled right back at them. I think they had their own language going - it was so funny!

Everyone checking out the fish . . .

Molly got lots of love from Grandpa Pat!

Grandma Pat taught Molly how to High - Five!

Vaughn rode a horse for the FIRST time ever!

Molly - all ready to wave at Cousin Vaughn on the horse!

Molly - waving at Vaughn!

What a fun day at the petting zoo!

Grandma Pat loved playing the piano with Molly on her lap!

Grandpa Pat loved reading books with Molly . . .

But Molly REALLY loved playing on the floor and chasing cousin Vaughn!
Vaughn = 4 years and 5 months old. Molly = 9 months.
Just laughing with Uncle Jeff . . .

Pat & Pat and their 3 sons! We had a great time with Mike's family visiting us from Nebraska and Arkansas over the weekend! We spent some time on the plaza shopping, visiting and had a good Old-fashioned Summer BBQ on Saturday night! Sunday we went to the fabulous Deanna Rose petting zoo . . . pictures to come in the next post!

Molly & Max

Molly was invited on her 1st official play-date today! Her friend Max, who she met at Gymboree, has a new playroom at his house and invited Molly over to be his very 1st friend to "help break it in"! We were honored! Molly has had many play dates in her 9 months of life--but they are always with mommy's friends or family/neighbors and the kids range in age from 1-5 years old, so it was so fun for Molly to play 1-1 with Max who is just a baby too!

These 2 have a lot of fun playing together and are always touching each other's faces - until Molly decides to pull Max's hair -- poor Max! Daddy says "No boys" until Molly is 20 years old - but we think Max is a sweet friend.
