Heading Home . . .

Our last morning in Colorado, we awoke to over a foot
of fresh snow! It was beautiful!

Not so beautiful driving it down the mountain . . .I was so nervous!

Luckily we all made it home safely and just fine - maybe just adding
about an hour to the drive due to the icy slick roads.

Sunday - Skiing & Ice Skating!

Mark, Brian, Lucas, Izzy and Molly went skiing
for the day at Breck - so excited for them!

Snowboarders . . .

While, Mike, Dad, Sarah, Kate and myself
went Ice-Skating and out for a taco lunch
at my new favorite lunch spot in Breck!

Was very very nervous to be ice-skating with my HUGE bruise on my
lower back/butt  - but trying to be resilient!
I skated more cautiously than I have in years!

Thank God, fun sis came out too to skate!

Meanwhile the ski crew was enjoying the sunshine for skiing!

Mike I met up with the Freivogels for Happy Hour . . .

Mike and Mary - Mike's good friends from Creighton! Mike was a groomsmen in our wedding. They live in Denver but have a condo in Dillon. Was great to see them - they wanted to meet at a dog bar! They had me at "dog." We can bring Bear?

I was in heaven meeting all the cute dogs!

Bear was too . . .

After a delicious homemade pasta dinner, we (or perhaps I should say the smartest folks in the family which did not include myself) played an exciting virtual escape room game online together.
It looked very clever!

It involved some ghost type stores so Kate asked me to go
upstairs and read Christmas books with her after about 30 minutes in the game. ;)

Saturdays Are 4 Sledding!

It was the coziest, snuggliest morning waking up at the Provinos beautiful house in Breckenridge. The fire was going, a lumberjack breakfast was cooking on the stove, tea and coffee were being served. We were spoiled rotten.

Wig Try Ons!
I think we all look best in our natural hair color ;)
Brian looks really good with the floppy do' . . ..

Time for sledding in their backyard!

Making some fresh runs to lay the path . . .

Aunt Sarah's turn!

Bear wanted to go up and down with everyone every time!

Mike's turn!

That view . . .

SNOW much fun!

Grandpa's turn!

The biggest kid of us all!

My 2nd time down, Molly told me to "Go for it! Don't be so cautious!"
So I took that literally!

I was flying down on the fastest sled so fast that I was in the
air for some of it and I was scared so I closed my eyes!
And slammed smack into the tether pole sticking out of the ground!
SO MUCH PAIN!  Think I'll be sore for several weeks!
But I had FUN for those few seconds I was flying!

Inside to get warmed up and some Ping Pong.

Mass in downtown Breckenridge . . .

Bear waited for us by the back door.

So blessed.
