Thanksgiving in Omaha!

The most beautiful Thanksgiving weekend weather in Omaha we have ever had! The kids loved climbing Grandma & Grandpa Pat's trees and playing outside the whole weekend. It was GORGEOUS!

Kate loved playing football with Daddy!

Her "go to" move is tricking Daddy by going under his legs - gets him every time!

Molly helped Grandma with the place cards for Thanksgiving dinner

Uncle Adam, Grandma Pat, Jeff, & Anne

Molly was asked to read the prayer before dinner -

Photo by Kate, after full tummies -

Grandpa asked the kids to help him hang Christmas lights the day after - in exchange for some hot cocoa after! They were all excited to help, as you can tell from the pix. Actually Molly helped a lot!

Kate and Charlotte played soccer too . . .

And no Thanksgiving is complete without building a "dirt city" in Grandpa's backyard!

Kate's Artwork Lately . . .

O is for Octopus

Kate's Thanksgiving Placemat she made at school with things she is grateful for - Rainbows and Horses, Big Sister Molly, Trees, The Beach/Ocean, and Turkey.

When asked to draw something starting with U - the other kids drew umbrellas or unicorns. Kate drew underwear. Love it. Much more practical, I told her.

The class was asked to individually draw why God is so good.

Our Week in Pix!

Swinging with Aunt Sarah after Gymnastics, after dark! Sarah stayed with us another night after the Lady Gaga concert!  Lucky us!

The tree in our front yard always takes my breath away this time of year . . .

Andrew Schmitz spent the day with us while his parents moved them to a new house! He is just 8 months older than Kate and they play so well together for hours - best buds.

Looking for ladybugs and worms . . .

Molly read at mass with her friend, Vivian.

Kate did her morning dances that she loves -

Kate played Doctor on me as her patient -

While I was gone just 24 hours from the girls to celebrate my Mom's birthday - Kate missed me terribly and made me this card. #sigh

Our good friends, the Dennos, were in town so we got see them a couple of times!

Olivia (5), Ellie (7), Molly (8), Kate (5)

Lots of leaf jumping

2017 Family Pix in Our Backyard!

Our good friend, Maggie Affolter, came by the other night to take a few pix of all of us after school! Love that we could just play and be silly in our own yard and have her capture the girls at these fun ages . . .
