A Princess Party!

Molly was invited to her friend Lilly's 3rd Birthday Party this morning! Lilly is the 4th child and only daughter of my good friend Angela - but NO BOYS were allowed at this party! Molly was told to dress like a princess - luckily our sweet neighbors shared some of their "dress-up" clothes with Molly so she had the perfect dress for the occasion! When we arrived we were greeted at the door with Molly's own Princess Chapstick. Molly was impressed!
Molly was the youngest girl there and loved watching all the older girls. They served the girls lunch on REAL china plates and tea cups! The sandwiches were shaped like royal crowns.
She loved the pink lemonade in her real tea-cup!
Oops - time for more lip gloss!
Heart-shaped marshmallows?!!?!
Molly even had her nails painted . . .
Everyone got to blow out their OWN candles on their cupcake!
While Lilly was opening up her gifts - Molly saw this new broom she received and just wanted to sweep! Just like the real Cinderella!
Thanks for inviting us to such a fun party, Lilly! Happy Happy Birthday!

Making a Pizza Pie!

I've heard amazing things about the pizza dough at Trader Joe's - so Molly and I decided to try it out for ourselves! It's only $1.00 and worth every penny for semi-homeade goodness! The crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside - simply delicious! Molly had a LOT of fun making the pizza as you can see . . .
She took the rolling pin very seriously!
You can't see it - but the bowl of pepperoni I gave her is on her lap and she's eating a LOT of them while I spooned the sauce on the dough . . .
Time for the pepp-er-roni!
Heavenly goodness! Can't wait to make it again -
I'm thinking fresh tomatoes and mozzarella next . . .

Playgroup at Our House!

It was our turn to host Playgroup this morning at our house! It was so fun to have 7 of Molly's little friends over, plus 3 baby brothers and 1 baby sister! Molly loved playing "kitchen" with the girls!
It was such a beautiful day that after playing inside for awhile, we played with chalk on the front porch - while taking turns on the swing!
Thanks for coming over to play!

Molly's Mary Prayers

We try to remember to say prayers before dinner and bedtime. We let her pick which one (rotate Our Father, God our Father, Hail Mary, & Lovely Lady). Today she asked if we could pray before lunch - and I just happened to have the Flip nearby so captured for forever - so happy to have her sweet little voice on film before it changes . . .

Beautiful Sunday on the Plaza!

After a relaxing Sunday morning with French Toast and play time - we went to mass on the Plaza and then walked around a little. It was a gorgeous Spring day and so we decided to have ice-cream for lunch!

The Easter Bunnies just arrived on the Plaza in time for Easter!
Thanks for coming to play Grandma JoJo & Grandpa Don!

Disney on Ice!

We snagged last minute tickets to Disney on Ice at the Sprint Center on Saturday afternoon. It was a phenomenal show - with fabulous music, lights and dancing! Molly loved it and was mesmerized by the whole spectacle of it all!
Of course, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald Duck were her favorite characters! She was quick to point out that Pluto was missing . . .
My favorite were the Lion King scenes with Hakuna Matata and Circle of Life and all the animals came out - so very cool!
There were a few parts that were a little scary -
Snow White's Dwarfs!
Aladdin and Princess Jasmine!
Belle! Molly was so excited when she saw Princess Belle from Beauty & the Beast!
Walking to dinner after the show . . .
