ROAD TRIP - Weston Red Barn Farm!

Molly and I road-tripped an hour outside of Kansas City this beautiful Indian Summer morning - to take a tour at the Weston Red Barn Farm & Apple Orchard with friends! There were about 10 moms - 25 of us total who made the journey from my Mothers of Young Children group at church. Such an AMAZING group of awesome women - will have write more about them later . . .
This is Molly with Mckinley - they were born just 11 days apart and her mommy and I met at pre-natal yoga classes when we were pregnant with them!

You should always have a catchers mitt ready - you just never know . . .

Sunday Brunch

We met Grandma & Grandpa Pat, and Aunt Kathy - for brunch Sunday morning on their way through Kansas City! Molly gave Grandma Pat the pumpkin she picked out just for her . . .
She sure loves her Grandmas & Grandpas!!! Look at this adoring face!
Grandma gave Molly an apple . . . and the dress-up beads
Molly decided the apple needed some beads to dress it up . . .

Fall Festivals

I LOVE LOVE LOVE September & October weather in Kansas City - warm indian summer days followed by crisp early autumn nights. Yesterday we played outside all day long! This time of year you NEVER want to go inside! Saturday we took Molly to the Overland Park Fall Festival & Parade and Saturday night we had a babysitter come to play with Molly while we headed to the Plaza Art Fair - one of my very favorite KC traditions!
As you know, Molly LOVES a parade!! The music, the balloons, the kids, the doggies!
Molly loved waving at all the kids in the parade . . .
If you look closely, you will see that "Baby Emilie" is waving too here (with Molly's help!) At the end of the parade Molly said "Again! Again Guys! One more time." Sorry Molly - parades don't have a repeat button . . .
Love the mix of late summer zinneas still blooming with the pumpkins and gourds . . .

A Day in the Life . . .

Another day in the life of Molly - fort building, diaper changing, yoga, and painting! You would seriously not BELIEVE how many diapers this mama changes on stuffed animals on a daily basis . . .*sigh*

Walkin' Pooh in the Stroller. . .

Molly is still obsessed with the sunglasses she got at her friends' birthday party on Sunday. As you can see, the "shade" part is already gone. That's fine, Molly likes the red glasses just as well. We call this her "Sally Jessi Raphael" look - she stole from her mama's 4th grade school pix.
If we're not dancing around the house in a circle . . . we are "strolling" the "babies" around in a circle. . . you probably have no idea how much fun this can be - Come over and we'll show you!!
Ohh - glasses on Pooh now!

Sunday Funday . . .

Molly had two friends turn 2, and one friend turn 6 years old today! Ainslie and Max both turned 2 and had a joint birthday party (since they share friends!) and Stella Hoog turned 6 (!) so we hopped from party to party - we had a fun time - eating, drinking and being merry!

Watch out world - Here they come!
After that party, we stopped by the Hoogs to wish Stella Bella a beautiful birthday!
Once again, Molly was in heaven playing with Annie & Stella . . .
