Our Week in Pix!

Track Season is back! And I'm so honored to coach this awesome group of 4th grade girls again this year! First day of practice they all were dressed colorfully, so of course - I had to get a pix of them all in rainbow order!

{Lauren, Isabel, Bridget, Kate, Elle, Charlie, Victoria, Harper, Caroline,
Mary Elizabeth, Rachael, Cecilia, Felicity, Mary Grace}

Running strong!

LOVE track season and love these girls!

Molly and friends celebrated Campbell's 13th birthday . . .

Bear loves to read with us at night - and often tries his hardest to keep his eyes open and head up to listen to the book, but inevitably always falls asleep after about 10 minutes into any book.

Kate brought home her "word of the year" project from school.
She chose JOY!

St. Paddy's Day Weekend - Provinos in KC!

Mark, Sarah + Izzy flew in to our brand new KCI airport on Friday just in time to celebrate St. Paddy's Day and a long 4 Day Weekend with us! We were SO excited to have them visit!!

My cousin Emily stopped by for Happy Hour and made
 some fabulous Irish Whiskey Drinks!

The girls played lots of Ping Pong!

It was a chilly weekend outside but luckily it was a great
weekend to be inside and watch March Madness basketball!

I took them Sarah + Mark to my favorite nursery on Saturday! They were having a Spring Open house and they had exhibits set up in side their greenhouse - it was heaven!!

Smelled like summer inside!

Sarah and I decided to pick out plants and pot them there to remember our weekend together - we both picked the "HOPE" plant! She planted a small one so it would be easy to carry home on Monday on her flight!

While the adults were at the nursery, the tweens and teens went shopping by themselves . . . and Izzy bought some slippers just like Kate's so Kate was excited to put hers on with her when they got home!

Then they put them on Bear . . .
He is SO patient with us.

Saturday night we celebrated Sarah's 33rd birthday (a week early)!!

The girls wanted to do a Ping Pong Bracket and Molly made this
bracket for us - I luckily got the first round "bye"!  If you had a star by your name
it meant that you got to pick who serves first and which side of table you were on.

The girls got "dressed" for the competition! I played ROCKY music as they came down!

Let's get this competition started!

Izzy won the whole thing!!! WAHOO!!!!

Posing with her winning bracket!

The older girls wanted to "work out" at the gym together . . .

Then a movie night with popcorn . . .

The girls asked to get their nails done together too -
so Sarah and I waited while they got their "fancy nails!"

Oh la la! Love their pastel colors . . .

Swingin' Cousins while Sarah + I walked Bear to the park . . .

Out for ice-cream, of course!

Lots of rummikub for us sisters!

Not to brag or anything . . . but I just happen to have a photo of the score.

Back to KC Before the Provinos Arrive!

Back to KC to clean the house and prepare the guest room for the Provinos flying in for the last 4 days of Spring Break!! Bear was happy to be home and play with us in the backyard.

Kate was starting to miss school so she set up her
bedroom as "school" and gave me lots of work!

Her math homework is getting harder for me to do quickly . . .

We went to the grocery store and stocked up for St. Paddy's Day Weekend!!
This weekend is brought to you by POTATOES.

Kate helped me make a birthday cake for Aunt Sarah!

Both girls joined me for yoga which made this Mama heart happy!

Last Night in Memphis . . .

Our last night in Memphis . . .

We explored Mud Island Park just over the bridge . . .

They had really cool topography maps of all the regions of the United States and Kate is studying states and capitols this year so she loved it - "this would be such a cool field trip for our class!"

Meanwhile back in KC, Bear was having a great time with his friends that he loves, even though we were missing him a lot!

They had bowling in our hotel - the girls and Mike checked it out our last night.

Road Trippin' home . . .

Bear is waiting for us!
