Kate's Vet Clinic - NOW OPEN

 

On the 7th Day of Christmas . . .

Kate opened up her Vet Clinic! She posted these signs all over the house and asked us to "call" to make an appointment.

Her spots are filling up fast! Call for an appointment. When school starts, 

she will only be able to take animals after school.

On the 5th Day of Christmas, the Arkansas crew were driving home from Omaha and stopped to spend the evening with us and break up the trip! We were so excited to have them and Rosie to our home!

Kate was so excited to play "Rainbow High" with Charlotte . . .

She had everything set up and ready to play!

We had a Mexican fiesta for dinner with chicken tacos and Molly's guacamole - 

and it was Anne's birthday so we celebrated with donuts and ice cream!

Anne LOVED Bear, Rosie was NOT a fan - as much as Bear tried to get her to like him. 

Ice Skating with the McGinnis Cousins!

 

We went outdoor ice-skating one afternoon together in Omaha

 and it was SO MUCH FUN!!

I forgot how much I LOVE ice skating! I skated the entire time - 

never got off the ice once-  until it was time to go!

Christmas in Omaha!

 

We arrived to Omaha by late afternoon on Christmas Day after dropping Bear off at his favorite babysitter's house! It was a beautiful, sunny Christmas day to drive north!

Charlotte brought her 2 year old dog, Rosie, to Omaha this trip - as she is just so tiny and stays in her little carrier most of the time!  She only weighs 3 lbs and is full grown! We had so much fun holding her!

We played lot of Rummikub!

Meanwhile, Michelle sent me a pix of Bear watching football on the couch with her husband. 

It made us laugh! He's so easy going - will fit in with anyone and what they want to do!

 

Santa!

 

We could hear Kate running back and forth from her room to Molly's room starting around 5:30 a.m. We told them they couldn't come downstairs until 6:00. Kate kept running in telling Molly how much time was left - literally every 2-3 minutes. You could feel their excitement from a floor below.

Molly got a brand new adult sized bike, new snow sled, bathrobe and more!

Kate got the Rainbow High doll house, a new snow sled, and more . . .

And Santa brought treats for Bear too!!!

Molly helped Bear open his treats from Santa . . .

The Monkey Bread never disappoints!

Both girls loved looking at all the cool details in the doll house!

Bear was exhausted by 8:00 a.m.

Kate took some pix of her favorite rooms in the dollhouse to share - she loves that the shower and the hot tub both use real water in them and bubble up, etc.

We had the most perfect Christmas morning weather to get a new bike!

Ready to test it out! SO much lighter than her old bike!
