Basketball Is Back!

SO excited Molly's 3rd Grade basketball team is back in action! LOVE watching them play and love how much Molly loves the sport! I promise to try to contain myself at the games and not get tooooo excited - but I love cheering on the Cure' Cougars!

So Muck.

Kate gave me this letter she wrote on her own, without asking me how to spell anything. I think I'm going to keep it forever . . .

Building a Snow Fort!

For the first time in a long time, we had enough snow accumulation to play in the snow all week and actually build stuff with it!

They worked on this snow fort for 3 hours straight after school even into the dark . . .

Molly took this pix of the view from inside the fort -

Snow Day!!!

The girls were SO excited for their first REAL snow day of the year!! NO SCHOOL the Monday after Thanksgiving - after already having a whole week off! We could hardly wait to get outside to play in it!

These are the days . . .

Came up to her knees in most places . . .

Our front yard was perfect for sledding!!! Just had to watch for cars - but our street is not very busy and the entire time we were sledding we had only 1 car come by and they were going slow! The streets were all ice and snow packed.

Kate was a little nervous at first - but eventually loved it!

Molly was smiling so huge the whole way down - each and every time.

We eventually made the slickest spot - I got to go too - so so fun!

Sunday Blizzard.

We drove back to Kansas City just in time to arrive safely before the snow came. It was such a beautiful gorgeous heavy snow - so much snow all at once!

While Dad was shoveling, we baked a pie - what else to do?

So much snow. ❤️

Thanksgiving 2018 - Mac Town

It was a beautiful day in McPherson to celebrate Thanksgiving this year!

Grandma JoJo + Papa Don with their 3 grand-daughters.

The original Party of Five.

All of us, except Lucas who was in Texas.

Mark's Mom came too which made it extra-special to have two Moms and Grandmothers!

Sister Time with my FAV.

Papa and his girls . . .

Just a little competitive . . .

Sibs.

FOOD!

So much wonderful food! Everyone contributed to the feast!

The guys.

Pure silliness. A game Mike likes to play - basically, "lets' throw the kids."

My turn!

Sarah's turn with Mark!

Uncle Brian's turn!

Kate taught the "big girls" how to make cornucopias- that she learned how to make at school.

My greatest blessings . . .

More game playing!

Kissin' Cousins.
