End of April Days . . .

I wonder sometimes if the spring flowers falling off the trees like confetti are where the idea for paper confetti came from so many years ago. It is so beautiful and falls in pinks, purples, yellows and whites all over our yard.

Last track practice of the season . . .

Last Young Professionals Class of the year . . .

Goofy pictures from recess . . .

Kate loves when Mike brings home his stethoscope so she can REALLY play veterinarian and check Bear's heartbeat. Bear is a patient and loyal patient of hers.

Making energy balls for the last track meet of the season!

And notes for all my girls! SO proud of each of them!

Descendants, the Musical with YPP!

So proud of this fearless girl!
Molly played the role of Queen Belle this past weekend in Descendants,
the Musical, with Stage Right Young Professionals Program.

She had a fabulous solo, singing "Be Our Guest" as well as lots of lines and outstanding dancing! Wish everyone could see her perform LIVE. She truly shines on stage, as she does in everyday life!

Loved her choreography she incorporated as she sang her solo . . .

Yeah, Molly!

SO much talent in this young group of kids, ages 12-15.

Posing with their YPP jackets they earned after participating every Saturday for 2 hours since September!

Molly invited her good friend Anna to join us for her 2nd show - as Anna has watched Molly perform since she was little and is her biggest fan/encourager!
Kate and Anna sat in the very front front row, for the 2nd performance while Mike and I sat about 10 rows back. It was SO sweet to see Molly come out on stage and spot them and gave out the BIGGEST smile. She was beaming to have them sitting right there cheering her on. :)
Afterwards, we went out for ice cream to celebrate!

Track Meet Saturday!

Second track meet of the season was a great one! Despite a VERY windy morning, the girls ran so healthy and strong! I was so very proud of them!

{Kate, Victoria, Ruby, Harper}

Teamwork makes the dream work.

Kate ran straight into the wind on both races and after the second race she looked at me, out of breath and said, "That was SO MUCH FUN!"

Big sisters make the BEST cheerleaders!

Our Week in Pictures . . .

Love my views on my walks with the Bear.

We find ways to have fun at track practice!

Cool down - wheelbarrow races.

Everything in KC is in bloom!

And it's GORGEOUS!

When I find myself extra busy, I make myself take a LONGER walk,
as I know I need it to breathe, pray and just be in nature.

Kate picking flowers for me.

Walking to piano lessons in the village shops . . .

Bear loves to lay like this in the mornings in the car with me, he snuggles up and falls asleep to the vibrations in the car.

Kate celebrate a couple good friends birthdays!
Ruby turned 9!

So they went bowling!

Molly came to help Megan out with the younger kids . . .

Kate French turned 9! The girls celebrated with a swimming party!

Easter Weekend Shenanigans in Mac Town . . .

Sweet Sister Cousins - so very close.
Slept together every night, staying up talking past midnight!

We played lots of poker and taught the girls 31!
Izzy won the huge game where we ALL played!

The girls begged Uncle Brian + Uncle Mike to play Ghosts in the Graveyard with them -
always more fun at Grandma JoJo's House! We could hear
their screams and giggles from inside the house!

Sarah made this homemade bread that was delicious!

The girls received clay masks in their easter baskets -
so they planned a spa night on Sunday night!

They used up the extra cucumbers from our dinner salad on their eyes . . .

Driving home - always so hard to say goodbye!

A Couple of (Competitive) Easter Egg Hunts!

Round 1: Adults Stuffed + Hid the Eggs from the Girls

They're off!

Money and Candy for the Win!

Round 2: The Kids Stuffed + Hid them from the Adults

Took the adults 3x Longer to find the eggs than it did for the kids.
And ladders were involved. They are good.

Gorgeous Easter Sunday in McPherson!
