Molly had her 6 month doctor visit this morning at daddy's office! Can't believe she's going to be 6 months old in a week!! She is still just a "little peanut" as they call her at daddy's office . . . She weighs 14.2 lbs (15% percentile) and is 25.5" long (50% percentile). But she continues to have the BIG HEAD (90% percentile). Going forward we will refer to Molly as the Popsicle--tiny little body with a big head. :) Hope she doesn't fall over when she starts walking! Just kidding . . . we were very happy with her growth and how she's doing--she's just a petite little thing!
They encouraged me to continue breastfeeding as long as I can exclusively . . .with maybe starting to add cereal once a day to get her used to eating from a spoon--not really for nutritional value yet. She should still be getting all of her nutritional needs just from breast milk--which continues to just amaze me!!
She had to get a few shots in the legs . . . but she only cried for a couple seconds and was smiling again at everyone! Can't believe how fast our little Molly is growing . . . wish time could just stand still for a little bit.
