A Plastic Tub Filled with Water . . .

It was a gorgeous morning out on our front porch and we didn't want it to end - so I filled a huge plastic tub of water and let the girls give their "babies'' baths in it!  I thought it would occupy them for a few minutes - if I'm lucky - maybe 15 minutes?  But we played with the water for over an hour!  It really is the simple things in life - and thank God for kids who remind us of that! We ♥ Summer!

Kate loves her baby - LOVES her baby.  She sleeps with her every night and I'm obsessed with watching her sleep on the video monitor these days. So here are a few recent pix of the video monitor screen, taken from my iphone.

Farmer's Market Wednesday!

We LOVE the Downtown Overland Park Farmer's Market on Wednesday mornings in the summer.  It's not as crowded as on Saturdays and they always have live music at the clock tower! We met some of our friends there today as Rockin' Rob was going to be there performing for their concert series! We were also lucky enough to get some of the first tomatoes of the season and fresh basil while we were there!  Can hardly wait to use those tomorrow night for dinner . . .

We went to the Deanna Rose Farm this morning with our family in town - we got there bright and early and Kate led the way!
