Camp JoJo!

My Mom (Grandma JoJo) invited all 3 granddaughters to spend a week at "Camp JoJo" with her this summer in McPherson and the girls could hardly wait for the end of July to get here!

Driving thru the Flint Hills . . .

My Mom greeted them at "check in" with "camp shirts!"

She had a clipboard (of course) and high heels on -
as she was the Camp Director after all!
The girls were so excited to see Papa Don and cousin Isabella too!

Their names were on the back of the shirts

Sarah came back to KC with me for a few days of Sister Time (heaven)!!

We got daily updates from the Camp Director - they were having a ball . . .

While Sarah and I ate lunch at our favorite places . . .

Got pedicures . . . and laughed a LOT.

Oh, and the girls were getting pedicures at Camp too . . .

And spoiled quite a bit . . .

Lindsburg shopping with Grandma JoJo!
Oh how I'm starting to miss them so bad!!

We got mail from the campers!!!

Splishin' + Splashin' + Gettin' Dirty

They LOVE washing the car - like seriously I could use it as incentive they love it so much.

Pool Days are Fun Days.

Molly and her friend Annabelle catching up on the other
side of the pool . . . laughing and talking non-stop about their summer adventures.
(what I would give to be a fly on her shoulder)

Molly + Annabelle

Kate showing me how she "dives" off the side

Outdoor Education Lab Camp!! They rode a bus to the edge of the city to hike in the mud, cross creeks, catch tadpoles and fish, canoe, hold animals and snakes and more!

Kate learned that she wants a pet ferret.

Molly learned how to backpack all day with minimal supplies on your back -
and what Ramen noodles were (her new favorite)

Play "Rodeo" in the backyard after dinner . . .

The rope was tied to the slide - no animals were hurt in this presentation.

Mike took Kate to a real rodeo in Miami County last night . . .
She was OVER THE MOON excited!
