Halloween Preview!

Molly and I made "Ghost Pretzels" yesterday for her to share with friends this week - we love chocolate on ANYTHING and we think they turned out super cute!

Of course after doing just a few ghosts Molly decided they needed sprinkles!

Molly wavered between being Belle (from Beauty & the Beast), Minnie Mouse and a doctor for the last few months.  But, eventually decided on Minnie!  The deciding factor - Minnie Mouse was the only costume of the 3 that had a true TWIRLY SKIRT!.  Molly spins in it non-stop!  I'm sure tomorrow night we will be twirling down the block . . .

And Baby Kate is Baby Minnie!

Check out her tail!

Happy Halloween!!

Welcome to our Loud Crazy House!

We just got done having our nightly dance party after dinner and Kate was in her swing - staring at us with her sweet blue eyes.  She looked concerned.  Baby Kate is usually sleeping through our dance sessions and now that she is awake a little more she is witnessing a lot of LOUD craziness with an almost 3 year old who loves music, talking, singing, and dancing. Welcome Home, Baby Kate.  Welcome Home!

Scenes from my iPhone . . .

I find myself taking lots more pix with my iphone lately of both of our daughters - as it is almost always with me these days (although usually on vibrate) as I am using a breastfeeding app that my sister found for me that helps keep track of feedings.  It's so easy to capture a quick pix in the moment - which is the stuff I will treasure the most anyway when they are grown.  Here we are all cuddly after a feeding - LOVE.

We walked to the park this morning to meet friends!  1st walk by myself with the double-wide stroller!  It was a GORGEOUS day to try it out - and the girls loved it!

Weston Red Barn Farm!

We made our annual drive to Weston to the Red Barn Farm this morning!  It was a BEAUTIFUL day -  in the 70's - which was great for baby Kate's 1st pumpkin patch tour!

Aunt Kathy got Married!

Mike's sister, Kathy got married on Saturday in Omaha!  Unfortunately Mike and I thought it was too soon to travel with a 2 week old - so Baby Kate and I stayed home in KC.  Lucky for us - Daddy called and texted photos a LOT so we felt like we were there in spirit!

Molly was in the wedding party with her cousin, Vaughn and when she arrived home today she told me "Mom, I was in heaven!"

Grandpa Pat showing Molly how to walk down the aisle . . .

The BEAUTIFUL bride!!

Molly bringing the crucifix down the aisle . . . she walked all by herself!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Cogan - Kathy & Adam!

It was a GORGEOUS autumn day for a wedding at the Boys Town Cathedral!

Dance like no one is watching - literally.

McGinnis Family Photo - wish I would have sent a cardboard cut-out of Kate and me!
