We all scream . . . for ice cream!

So as many of you know, I am a huge fan of Christopher Elbow, the gourmet chocolatier based right here in Kansas City! Anyway, this summer he opened up a little ice-cream shop just THREE miles from our house. Mike, Molly and I have checked it out before but today I went with a girlfriend and tried it for the FIRST time. I am in love! The ice-cream tastes so fresh as it is made with intensely pure, all natural ingredients.

After sampling the Lime Basil and Farmer Bob's Sweet Corn (DELICIOUS and made with fresh squeezed sweet corn!) I decided to go with Pineapple Cilantro and Goat Cheese Honey. WOW! What a great combo. The sweet fresh taste of summer with the pineapple and fresh cilantro mixed with the wholesomeness of the goat cheese honey.

They also have more traditional flavors like Vanilla Bean, Raspberry Sorbet, Dark Chocolate, Blueberry Cream Cheese, and Peaches and Cream. I wish I could have tried every single flavor (24 total and they are constantly changing).

So happy to support this local business and so proud of another local business owner using fresh, natural ingredients!

Snoop

Snoop Dogg . . . .
Emily & Joe
Mike and me with Patrick, Joanne, Shane & Hilary

Mike is a huge Snoop Dogg fan and I too--of course, who isn't if you went to college in the 90's! Memories of dancin' at the clubs to Gin & Juice bring back fond memories and funny stories! When we heard Snoop himself was coming to a small venue right here in Kansas City this week - we HAD to go! We were able to talk some of our friends into joining us and WHAT A FUN NIGHT it was! Snoop was AWESOME! He's still got it . . .
*Special thanks to Emily for the photos!

And . . .she's MOVING!

Molly is officially army crawling ALL OVER the house. And she's FAST . . . . I will set her in one room to play, then go in the kitchen to cook dinner and she is at my heels within SECONDS. Watch where you are stepping as she loves to hang out RIGHT BEHIND you.

I was able to capture a short clip of her moves - but before you click PLAY, go to the bottom of this blog and turn the music off so you can hear the audio in the video!

Gymboree!

I have been going with Molly to the local Gymboree gym in Prairie Village - just a couple miles from our house. We started going when she was about 6 months old, so a couple of months now and she has made some great friends already! Here is her good friend, Max. Molly LOVES Max and always tries to touch his face, hands, feet but Max usually just ignores Molly. ;)

Here is Molly with her friend Ainsley. Ainsley taught Molly how to wave!

It is SOOO funny to see all the babies play together - here they are getting ready for "parachute time"--their FAVORITE!

On Saturday, all of us moms decided to bring the daddy's along! Here they are playing soccer with the babies! SO FUN!

Molly is so lucky to have such a "hands-on" daddy! They spend a a lot of time together playing hard!

Bubble time . . .

Mac Town . . .

We just returned from a family vacation in McPherson - Below are the kissin' cousins! Lucas is 5 1/2, Isabella is 1 1/2, and Molly is only 8 months! She tried her best to keep up with the older kids though! As you know, she thinks she's "Big Stuff."

Lucas liked to push the girls in the swing in Grams and Gramps' backyard!

Isabella loving it!!

Mark and Mike, and Molly just kickin' it.

Molly's turn!
Soo fun!

Grams and Gramps with their 3 grandchildren (and me)!

We played lots of Wii . . .even Isabella wanted to "play."

Molly, Lucas, & Isabella

Pretty impossible to get all 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time - let alone smiling! But, I think these photos are still adorable! Truly capture their ages RIGHT NOW!

SISTERS with our girls!!
Sarah and I are SIX years apart--so it's so very cool that we have daughters who are only 8 1/2 months apart! And no--it was not planned! God has bigger/better plans for us than we could ever wish for ourselves . . .
I cannot WAIT to see what else he has in store - as life is good!!

Visiting Grandma down on the farm . . .

The McPherson Water Park!

SOOOO excited!!

This little ledge was the perfect size for Isabella . . .

Lucas is such a great "big" cousin to the girls!

We hear you singing, little peanut!!

Molly and her daddy playing with Lucas and the dog, Dakota.

Aunt Sarah even let Molly share her beer . . . she loved the cold on her teething gums!

We even made it to the library one day!

Molly decided to start crawling for the 1st time at the library! Too much to see and do--she wanted to MOVE!

Gramps was helping out . . .

Lucas read books to Molly before bed each night . . . What a fun vacation!

Ready to Crawl!

Molly is starting to "act" like she wants to crawl. The above picture is her "classic pose" this week--leaning forward, rocking on her hands . . .

Molly has always been ACTIVE--moving all around the house the last few months by rolling, pushing, scooting--so I can only imagine how mobile she will be once she gets this crawling thing down.

Slow down little baby, slow down. I want you to stay a BABY a little longer!!!
