Fall Weekend with McGinnis Clan in KC

It was a beautiful first weekend of Fall with the McGinnis crew visiting us from Arkansas and Omaha . . .

Molly, Charlotte, Kate

Molly had an early morning soccer game and the field was muddy!

Molly had a great game!

So fun to watch . . .

The Cure' girls played against Barstow and Molly's preschool friend, Mckinley!

Back to our house for hot cocoa to warm up!

Lunch is even more fun with cousins . . .

Kate & Charlotte played for hours in Kate's room . . .

Anne and I made an apple pie together  . .

The girls pretended to be "nuns" at dinner . . .

Grandma Pat & Kate

Kate got to open up a few birthday gifts early -

Caricatures drawn of the 3 girls . . .

First Week of Fall!

First week of fall is always my favorite - love "autumnizing" our home!!! Who wants to come over for coffee and pumpkin muffins?

Going Back to Gym Class!

Parents were invited to join their kids in P.E. class this week at school and it was a BLAST!

Molly, Molly, & Anna
4th Grade Friends

It was SO much fun! We got to play KINGPEN against the 4th graders in Mrs. Huska's class - and it got just a little competitive! The other Moms and I talked about making a Kingpin League! Ha!

In the First Grade PE Class, we got to do fun stations that they love!

Kate & Anna on the scooters

Parachute time!

So fun!

So much fun - wish I could come every week to P.E.

HOME.

I arrived home Sunday afternoon and the girls had lots of surprises waiting for me!

I got to see Kate's adorable toothless smile!

Molly had planned a flight for us to HAWAII in the basement!
This is her in the cockpit preparing to take off . . .

She is so creative - she had thought of everything for the flight!

Kate and I were passengers and had reading materials and pretzels waiting for us . . .and even had leis to wear for when we arrive in Hawaii.

This was my window seat view . . .

Just some light reading during the flight . . .

The "hotel room" Molly had prepared for us. . .

When I arrived in "Hawaii", Kate was the instructor for a private yoga class!

Wow, did I need it after my week in Nashville!

Unfortunately it was only 10 minutes long - but I'll take it. SO happy to be home!

While I Was Gone . . .

After I dropped the girls off at school, I found lots of notes from Kate - by my bed, in my bag, etc.

Mike sent me this pix of Kate on Wednesday night, her tooth still hanging on - literally by a thread.

My dear friend, Megan Schlick, offered to watch the girls on Friday as the girls didn't have school that day. She sent me this pix of her kids waiting for Mike to drop them off at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

Pizza party at the Schlicks!

The Dorings came over too to love on our kids . . . I can't tell you how good it feels to know that when you are gone your friends love your kids like family.

My cousin Emily picked them up in the afternoon to pick her girls up from St. Ann's and go out for ice-cream! What a day they got to have!

On Saturday, Daddy let Molly make slime . . .

And Kate's tooth finally popped out!

Oh how I missed them!
