I LOVE these girls!

Easter Weekend with the McGinnis Crew!

We drove up to Omaha on Good Friday to spend the long
Easter weekend with the McGinnis cousins and Grandma Pat!

It was wonderful for all 11 of us to be together again just a few weeks after Grandpa Pat's funeral. I wish I had a pix of the rest of us - but we just focused on the kids and Grandma with the pictures this trip.

{Vaughn-19, Charlotte-12. Grandma Pat, Kate-12, Molly-15, Vaughn-11}

Pat played the piano SO beautifully for Easter Sunday morning mass!
She is SO very talented - it's always an honor to get to hear her play!

The granddaughters!

Easter Prep . . .

Bear appeased me by wearing his "bunny ears" long enough
for me to get a photo of his sweetness!

Before we head to Omaha on Friday - made my
favorite lemon cheesecake to bring!

Our yellow pansies in the backyard just happened to be in bloom!

Spring in KC!

It has been a GLORIOUS Spring in Kansas City this year! So many gorgeous bluebird days and everything in bloom, the air smells like candy!

Bear has an extra hop in his trot! He's LOVING the weather, too!

He always comes with me to pick up the girls. He loves to wait
patiently while they come out of tennis -

Kate's latest painting from Art Class at school . . .

We are so proud of Molly for going out for Track - a hard sport that she doesn't love - but she is proving she can truly do ANYTHING she sets her mind to! She is an incredibly hard worker.

Lilacs in the 'hood smell like HEAVEN.

Molly's 3rd track meet - she wasn't letting this girl beat her.

Go, Molly Go!

Molly typically runs the 100 and 200 yard
dashes on the JV Track Team for St. James.
