Halloween Week!

The leaves are just GORGEOUS! Bear is very patient with me on our walks when I stop to pick up leaves to admire them . . .

Kate's last volleyball practice of the season and the coaches let her fulfill a long-felt dream to stand in the "ref booth" and make a "call."

I met a friend after yoga on a beautiful fall day for fresh juice!

Kate helped hand out candy at Trunk or Treat to the younger kids.

Waiting to pick up the girls from tennis lessons . . .

This view on our daily walks . . .

And this sunset view after dinner . . .

Kate's End of the Season Volleyball Tourney!
They took 2nd place and had a great season!!

{Kate, Sadie, Reece, Anna, Caroline, Lottie, Nora, Avery}

Kate's serve has greatly improved this year
and often it isn't returned!

 A wonderful team this year with THE BEST coaches!

Did I mention the fall foliage this month!?!?

Trick or Treat ready! This year, Kate went as an "Elephant in a Tutu" -
Molly went to a party with friends, so no pix of her this year.

{Caroline, Kate, CeCe}

All Saints and All Souls Day - my favorite Holy day of the year!
Kate told me to stop by and see the alter she made for Grandma JoJo after mass - pretty surreal that it is sitting in the same hallway where Mom went to grade school.

Kate came up with everything for this alter all on her own - everything was from her room, the pictures, the rosary, Grandma's lotions, her nail polish, etc. Kate just asked me to help her find some licorice and Diet Coke (Dr. Pepper had to do). She worked so hard on it - I'm sure Grandma could feel the love in Heaven.

Molly - Freshman Tennis

We celebrated Molly last night at the end of the season Tennis Banquet at Saint James. It was such a wonderful evening!  I love the slide show with pictures of the girls from the entire season!  They recognized the seniors of course and the wonderful coaches. It has been a great first season for Molly playing tennis at Saint James and we have LOVED cheering her on from the sidelines! I really love how she got to know so many great girls from all the grades - and formed friendships with several sophomore and juniors, I can hardly wait for next season already!

Freshman on the JV1 Squad:
{Leah, Molly, Kristen}

Last practice of the season with Varsity/JV1 - Red VS Blue
Molly was on the RED team - 2nd from the right

Tennis Banquet - another freshman friend on the team, Madelyn.

So very proud of Molly winning the Integrity Award!
More proud of this than anything she does competition wise - but of course, she is a fabulous tennis player as well!  So proud of her!!!

The entire Team: Varsity, JV1, JV2, and C Team

And the new tennis courts at Saint James JUST got done!! So, next year - practices AT St. James and they get to host their own matches/duals with other schools! CANNOT WAIT!

Fall Daze . . .

Someone (his vet) told him he has "a six pack of abs" and it went
straight to his head. Bear stands just a little prouder these days . . .

Annual Cure' of Ars School Carnival!
{CeCe + Kate}

Saint James Homecoming Football Game! Molly has gone to every game this year - but this was Mike and I's first St. James game and it was a lot of fun! Saw lots of old and new friends!

SJA won against Blue Valley!

The furriest caterpillar in my oregano this week . . .

Friday Night Tailgate before the A+B Teams at Cure' of Ars play
each other in a special Friday night lights match up at home!!

S'mores between the games after it got dark!

Let's do this!

LOVE these girls!

4th year all playing together!

I made some Nutella ghosts with puff pastry dough!

Kate's recent artwork from school . . .

The first year out of 10 in this house that the squirrels beat me!

I have a new plan next year to take my title back.

Kate's 12th Birthday Party!

The "Sephora" bags were ready for the girls on Saturday afternoon!  Kate filled them with her favorite lip gloss and candy for each of them!

Thank God for super big sister, Molly who helped me put together this Scavenger
Hunt list for each group - each of the 3 were a little different.
She and I went and walked around Town Center making the list a couple days
prior and Molly had such creative and fun ideas for the girls!

The whole crew - such a sweet and polite group of girls! Mike, Molly, and I each took a group of 4! Probably no surprise that Molly's group (with Kate in it) won!

{Lucy, Vivian, Isabel, Sadie, Harper, Victoria, Caroline C. Caroline L.)
{Anna, Cece, Lottie, Kate, Reece}

Fun snapshots from "The Hunt!"

Back to our house for candy and chips - Kate's choices!
She also wanted to make sure we had Gluten Free options for her friend Lottie!

These are the days . . .

They rested about 10 minutes, before they were all outside playing volleyball!

A beautiful party for a beautiful girl!
Kate sure did feel the love!
