Sunday Night in Jackson Hole!

Sunday we arrived in Jackson Hole around 3:30 - just in time to check in to our little cabin and then walk downtown (4 blocks) to explore and grab dinner!

We're not in Kansas anymore!

My FAVORITE store!

Of course, we had to stop in the candy shop!

The main lodge where we stayed (at Elk Country Inn) was awesome - indoor/outdoor pool with two hot tubs. We loved it!

Sunset view from our cabin . . .

Good night Night #1.

On the Road Again . . .

On the road again . . . Our 6th and final road trip of the summer!  And it's a big one!

To Wyoming and Montana, to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone!

We can hardly wait! Been planning this trip since January!

Such beautiful views as we head northwest . . .

We've entered Wyoming!

We made it to downtown Jackson Hole!

Checking into our cute little cabin . . .

Love our picnic table and rocker on the front porch.

This view . . . .

I think we packed enough snacks for 10 days  - we shall see.

End of July Days . . .

Mike and I played in the 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament in the neighborhood! It was a lot of fun, even if we didn't finish on top!

Our friends the Delimits host it in the backyard and it's a great day!

Molly joined the Parrishes (Anna) to their lake house for the weekend and had a blast! We missed her so much, but loved getting pix from Sarah throughout the 3 days!

They did ALL the water sports, plus lots of golf cart driving. . .

And even stopped by the county fair to see their cousin's sheep being shown!

By Sunday night, on the drive back to Kansas City!
This is NOT posed - they were exhausted!

Ruby + Kate did another fun park bike ride to Meadowbrook by themselves and stopped at the "Market" to buy cupcakes with their own money. Then, biked back to our house to play LIFE.

I, of course, am always stalking her on her device . . .

Kate + Molly charge of watering the neighbors plants while they were out of town . . . .

I had drinks over at Kelly Wells house with her - and now that I'm a "dog mom" I have lots of catching up to do with her dogs, Winnie and Charlie. They were cuddling with me the whole night while we drank our wine and caught up. :)

How cute is this face?!?!?!

Kate played school with me and she was a strict teacher!

I got marks for not having a complete paragraph in my English writing assignment.

Every subject . . . lots of math!

This was her desk, she put her photo on a flashlight to serve as her lanyard.

She even had me dissect a bird squishy and I had to wear a headlamp and cut out the eyeballs to look at under the magnifying glass.

Aunt Carol came in town to stay with us for a few days! It was WONDERFUL to have her in KC and to spend time with her!!! Dad joined us too for the last 2 days . . .

Kate helped me make a special pie for them and homemade peach ice-cream.

Bear helped me get Carol's room ready for her. He was SO excited to meet her!

Flowers from the garden around the house . . .

Carol and I went to the house, just 1.5 miles from me - where she and my Mom grew up!  The sweet owner let us tour it and was fun to have Carol tell me her memories in the house. Made me miss Mom even more - but know she was with us in spirit on the tour.

Bear lays like this every night when Kate reads to me before bed.

I used Mom's table linens for dinner each night -
we hosted Father Pat Rush the first night Carol was in town.

Played SWOOP! Molly beat us all!

Kate celebrated sweet Harper's 11th birthday!

Sweet friends for 5 years now . . .

Last Hike of the Weekend . . .

One more GORGEOUS sunset hike up past Sarah's backyard!

She and Mark made the most delicious
pasta dinner with grilled chicken.

We ended dinner around 8:00 - the perfect time to leave for a sunset hike!

The girls were tired from the lake all day, but they rallied!

Sister Cousins! Love hearing their giggles all weekend!

Love hiking among the wildflowers!

Sarah + I took the long way home . . .
