Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake with Friends!

Flanagans bought a lake house this Spring and they invited the Schlicks and us up for the 3 day holiday weekend! We all brought food/drink and we had a great old-fashioned fun weekend! 6 adults and 10 kids made for someone always to play with!

Molly and Mike were the "ones to beat" - they went SO FAST every time! They were so fun to watch! Molly's ponytail would FLY in the air they were going so high off the waves!

Sunday night S'mores!

Last Week of 4th Grade + 7th Grade!!

 It was a super fun filled last week of school! 

Molly and her entire class of 7th graders had an all day retreat at the park - 

to prepare to be the oldest in the school next year as big 8th graders!

Molly, Anna, Vivian - friends since they were in Kindergarten!

Kate and I have been taking lots of sunset strolls lately after dinner and I cherish this time. On this particular day she wanted to look at the clouds with me from the grass, so I laid down beside her.

We founds lots of objets in the clouds!

Kate had her last piano lesson with Miss Annie Chou - after 4 years of lessons!  She has learned SO much from her and is excited to keep playing and learning on her own!

I found THIS at the grocery store to share with the girls after school one day!

Our Americana flags are up for the start of summer and Memorial Day!

Kate and Victoria had a HUGE water balloon fight one afternoon . . . 

And then played "dress up" with Grandma JoJo's high heels.

SO MUCH PERSONALITY. Love them.

Attended several graduation parties this year!

Our neighbor Madeline Ruf was one of them,  

graduating from KU in mechanical engineering.

Last day of school for these 3!

We will NEVER forget Kate's 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Cocumelli. She was one of the BEST teachers we've ever had. Kate cried several tears saying goodbye to her on the last day.
