Molly got to go to Tekakwitha Camp for the first time overnight with friends from school!
She packed for 3 days and 2 nights and we were just so excited for her to get to go this year!
10 girls total in her room and 5 bunk beds!
They were so excited - they didn't even mind getting up at 6:00 a.m. to leave by 7:00 to drive to camp (75 minutes away)!
We went to yoga one morning and then home for Bear snuggles . . .
We went to Deanna Rose and LOVED
seeing all the animals again! (It was closed last year)
It was hot and sweaty, but we didn't mind!
This sign made us laugh!
Feeding the goats is still fun for both of us!
And we had to find the horses, of course!
And the huge zinnea garden!
Popsicles with Charley, our neighbor!
I've been on a dixie cup popsicle kick and trying different concoctions!
I got to pick all 3 of the girls Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. and it was SO WONDERFUL to hug Molly again!! She and her friends talked the entire ride home, laughing and telling stories about their 3 days! They had such a great time and their faith is on fire! They do such a great job at this camp and the counselors are such great role models for these girls!
Mike and I had a fun date night out with friends!
This is my new favorite summer drink! Delicious!
A Cucumber Cooler - vodka, cucumber, mint and lime
Our last night out before Kirsten has baby #5!
{Kirsten, Me, Megan}
Sunday afternoon I made a cherry pie with the freshest cherries!
The Dennos are in town this week so we had them over for tacos!
Pie and Root Beer floats for dessert!
Was so great to see Kalyn, Adam and the girls!
Volleyball game after dessert . . .
Love the green hydrangeas this time in the summer . . .
I cut off a pair of jean shorts the other day and Kate asked me for the extra material. Then she asked me for duct tape. Then she disappeared.
Introducing the JEAN SWING!
Still working on the patent, so please don't copy. ;)
She was so very proud of her invention . . .
We met the Dennos again for lunch and pedicures before they had to return to Colorado!
{Molly, Kate, Maddy, Ellie}
It's a pedicure party at Hoopla!
Miss having her as a neighbor so much!
Early morning walks are so beautiful in the summer!
And I finally nailed my Mom's Chocolate Peanut Butter Popsicles!
Taste just as delicious as they did when I was a kid!
