Lately . . .

Kate was in a Castleball Tournament at school . . .

All School Mass this week was in honor of Stand Up to Cancer and everyone the kids know who has cancer. They all wore the colors associated with the cancer to mass as well as held up signs with their loved ones battling the disease. It was beautiful . . .

Kate celebrated her friend Vivian's 6th birthday!

We baked muffins . . .

And delivered to friends . . .

I was so lucky to get to be volunteer in the lunch room this week when it was Royals opening day and it was a Royals party in the lunch room!!!

As a family, we helped Feed the Hungry Saturday morning at church with friends - packing rice bags for the those who need it. Was a great reminder for all of us . . .

Kate loved her "sticker job"

Molly rocked her "weighing" role.

I "babysat" for Madalin, my grand-daughter. Kate left me notes . . .

We had our Annual Trivia Night up at the school. Same team for 4 years now - we have so much fun together and laugh so much!!  We had dinner prior at the Dorings . . . where they made homemade limoncello for dessert!

{Julie, Sarah, Me, Adrienne}

Our theme we picked for our team this year was "The Loggers" or Lumberjacks - we love these couples like family and have been friends now for almost 10 years.

{Dorings, Parrishes, Us, Overleases}

And we took our role seriously.

S'mores at the table!

We took home 2nd place in the Trivia contest!!!
I'm sure you would never guess from this picture . . .

Kate loved wearing Mike's wig today . . .

Our Week in Pictures . . .

Amy Krantz and I at the Justin Timberlake concert (JT!!!) -
we went to dinner before and made it a girlfriend date night . . .

It was one of the very best concerts I've ever been to - a huge stadium but he made it feel so intimate and real. LOVED IT!!!!!

The girls surprised each other with scavenger hunts and surprise gifts around the house . . .

Love her little toes sticking out under chair seat . . .

Love their hearts and how much they love to surprise each other .. .

A note from Kate to us . . .

About food . . .

We practiced braids . . .

We walked home from school again and saw many signs of Spring . . . stopping to visit with friends all the way home.

We had a pizza party to watch March Madness . . .

Our grand-kids did too . . .

Ready for the KU game!

The girls put on a "show" for us - with costume changes- as you can see.

Annabelle came over to play with Molly . . . and we made "Orange Cows".

Victoria came over to play with Kate . . .

It was a fun week!

Playing with Papa Don!

My parents stopped by for a quick visit on their way to Florida, and the girls LOVED getting to play outside with Papa Don!

According to them, he pushes THE BEST of anyone on our tree swing!

They couldn't stop giggling . . .

Molly was flying . . .

Molly asked Grandpa to play her 1:1 in b-ball . . .

While Kate was pre-occupied with "watering" her worms - literally.

Kate pulled out her pink wig to help us rake up sticks in the yard - we sure were blessed to have them visit, even if it was short!
