Girls Trip to Mac Town . . .

My parents trip to Florida was delayed so Sarah and I decided to take our girls down for a quick 3 day weekend to visit the parentals with the girls! The girls were so excited for another road trip to visit Grandparents! The Dads had to work Friday, so this was a girls only trip!

We made it! Baileys to celebrate!

Christmas Coziness . . .

After a busy month preparing for Christmas, it was wonderful to have a couple days to just enjoy it at home with just us . . . It felt good to breathe, sleep, play and bake.

Molly got a new cookbook from Kate for Christmas and the first thing she made from it - was  omelette for me - it was delicious!

While she was cooking, Kate read to me - pure happiness.

Kate colored in her new coloring book -

Molly wore her new necklace . . .

The girls tried out their new roller-skates from Santa!

Molly baked home-made donut holes from the new cook book on Day 2 . . .

They were DELICIOUS!

We got to be the taste-testers . . .

Lots of puzzles too . . .

Opening Christmas Gifts . . .

When we returned from church, the girls were SO excited to give the gifts they had picked out for each other and Mike and me. It was super refreshing - of course, they were also excited to open their own gifts as well!

A necklace from us . . .

A Wellie Wisher doll from her sister!

Dad's very own Cure' Sweatshirt from the girls . . .

A coloring book she has been wanting from Mike and me.

New Nike kicks from Molly - a total surprise!

New chiefs gear!

They both fit in Molly's new chair from Santa . . . I don't want today to end! What a beautiful day, just the 4 of us.

Christmas Morning Children's Mass!

This is our 5th year going to the Christmas morning Children's Mass at Cure' of Ars - it is always such a festive and happy mass with all the children acting out the Gospel reading. In the past, the girls have always been angels . . .

But this year, Molly got the part of Mary and she was over-joyed!

No room at the inn . . .

Love this photo of all the kids participating, angels, shepherd, sheep, inn-keepers, Mary and Joseph.
Joy to the World!
