Mac Town Weekend!

My brother drove up from Dallas, my sister from Colorado, and we from Kansas City to meet in McPherson for a long summer weekend with my parents! Always good to see my siblings and for the cousins to get to play together - love how close they are and love my fun family!

On the road . . .

Swimming on Friday afternoon!

The girls brought their dolls too - to get some sun.

Isabella & Molly - just 8 months apart - totally call themselves TWINS!

"Go Fish"

Me with my sweet god-son, Lucas whom I ADORE!

We took the kids to see this awesome IMAX film about women who become engineers - and the changes they make in society and around the world. LOVED it!

This cutie was in museum heaven.

The kids all made their own t-shirts to
remember the weekend - so hard to say goodbye!

Ice Cold Lemonade 4 Sale!

On Monday morning, the girls awoke bright and early so excited to have their Annual Lemonade Stand! They had worked so hard to prepare by baking cookies, making lemonade and making friendship bracelets, they were ready for the fun part - to see all their friends!

They ran it themselves this year - I was just there to observe!

Love.

Kate's good friend Charlee came to help!

The McCoys came too and Patrick even brought his collection of insect shells to show us -

Mckinley, Molly & Liddy

We stayed outside for over 4 hours - it was a gorgeous summer day and we had over 100 friends stop by - it was like a big front yard party!

The Dorings stopped by too!

Molly's beautiful bracelets -

So blessed to have so many great friends who came by to support our cause this year - our friends who are adopting a little girl from China!

The Rose Family stopped by too - who are adopting the little girl!
Kate wore her "Stop and Smell the Roses" t-shirt just for them she told us!

Lots of sweet babies to hold - can't wait for next year!

Bracelet & Cookie Making - Lemonade Stand Prep

Molly started making bracelets last week to prepare for a Lemonade Stand/Jewelry Sale in our front yard. She spent SO much time on each one - carefully picking the right colors with the perfect charm and it was hard to string - I was amazed at her patience. She made over 25 before I knew it - whenever she had a half hour free she would run upstairs and make one -

She taught Kate and I how to make them too and we helped make just a couple  -

Kate helped me make over 100 cookies for the Lemonade Stand!

Our Week in Pix!

Playdate with the Dorings!

Kate went to Super Hero camp a couple of days in the mornings!

This sweet dog was at camp too -

Molly went to "So You Think You Can Dance" Camp a few mornings -

The girls put on a few more fashion shows for us -

They played with their cousins and giggled - a LOT!

We were grateful for fresh sweet corn from one of Mike's rural patient's farm!

"I eat corn like a squirrel!!" - Kate

I had to make "oats" for Kate's "horse" every morning -

Kate got her very own "cowgirl" boots!

Molly and I made a Peanut Butter - Banana Cream Pie
