Little Mermaid!

Family Date Night - Out to dinner and to see The Little Mermaid Jr production at Avila with Stage Right Performing Arts. It was so good and we recognized a few faces of kids from Cure' of Ars! Both girls' eyes were glued to the stage the entire 90 minutes!  Afterwards, they HAD to meet Ariel - an adorable 5th grader from Corinth!

Happy Friday! Our Week in Pix . . .

Molly went to Barstow morning camp this week with her good friend, Mckinley. The theme was "Princess in the Spotlight" and they were SO excited!

A visit to the American Girl Doll store to meet "Lea" . . .

Kate went to morning camp 3 days this week at Ward Parkway - the theme was BUGS and she had so much fun learning, drawing and collecting bugs - and running through the sprinkler and having a picnic outside too! Her good friend, Lucy, was in her same camp with her.

I had the pleasure of going out to lunch with these 2 cuties after camp!

We made mud pies . . .

Our hydrangeas are starting to bloom!!!

First note of this kind - had to take a pix
"Kate is not a-lawd in my rom"
Sister Love

Molly got creative with her name . . .

We went swimming with Daddy . . .

Kate and I went to Deanna Rose Farmstead today on Molly's last morning of camp - we met her friend Zander there too (Mckinleys little brother) -
it was a BEAUTIFUL summer morning for it!

Kate and Zander

Kate could NOT WAIT to feed the goats!

She also wanted to ride a pony all by herself!

Molly's camp class put on a little theatre show for us - it was so darn cute!
They learned a lot during the mornings this week!

Dad's Day at Our House

Preparations under way early . . . First up - Oreo Pie!

Decorating cards and gifts . . .

French Toast for Breakfast with his Girls . . .

Spent the afternoon swimming at the Pool and then home for Pizza!  The perfect way to celebrate this awesome guy I'm lucky enough to call my husband and the girls get to call Daddy!  ❤️

Happy Father's Day to My Dad

Happy Father's Day to My Dad - the man who taught me to live my faith through actions - not words, the man who taught me to change the oil in my car and rotate the tires before he would let me drive it, the man who taught me that forgiveness is the #1 healer, the man who set such a great example of what I should look for in a husband that I didn't find him until I was 31 years old, the man who taught me to mow and string-trim - trim the trees/shrubs and take care of the yard, the man who taught me to have dreams as high as Heaven and to them and more. Thank you, Dad - for EVERYTHING. You are THE BEST.  ❤️

Mahoney: Awards Night!

Our last night at Mahoney, we put together skits and had an Awards Ceremony!  It was so adorable!  The cousins were in charge of their skit - which was Frozen (big surprise!).

The grown-ups did our own skit for the kids as well - we did "The Little Engine that Could" and Grandma Pat read the story while we acted it out.  The kids thought it was hilarious!

Grandpa Pat kept all the trophies from Mike and his siblings growing up and then re-labeled them for Awards Night! Each kid got their very own award and was called up on stage and we all clapped. It was AWESOME and you could see the pride in each kids' face as Grandpa talked about them and why they were getting each award.

Kate was first up, getting the LOVE BUG award for spreading love (and hugs and kisses) everywhere she went all week!

Molly got the "Creative Crafter" Award for spreading creativity and "outside the box" ideas throughout the week.

Even Patrick got to go on stage!

Emma won the Best Big Cousin Award!

Vaughn with his trophy!

Charlotte won the "Playdoh Princess" Award!  Look how excited she was!

Kate FINALLY crashed on the way home . . . such a fun, memorable week!
