You will run into a room we are in and scream - like a quick outburst announcing your arrival - then burst out laughing at yourself. You know every word to every princess song thanks to your sister, but thankfully your favorite character and TV show are still Elmo & Sesame Street. You love to say "I-ceam" and when pulling out your hair bands at the end of the day - you will sometimes say "OWWW" and in the same breath say in the sweetest highest pitched voice EVER - "Be Bave - Be Bave" to yourself. You still say "Hold You" and reach your arms out to us when you want us to hold you and I melt every time. You are such a Mama and love to take care of all the babies in the house, feeding and rocking them, singing "Baby Mine"and "reading" to them. Tonight I melted at your sweet little voice calling out to me as I left your room and shut off the light - "I wuv you, Mama."
Real generosity towards the future lies in giving it all to the present. This is our life - as we live it.

Moving in the Fall . . .
So, we sold our house For Sale By Owner over the 4th of July Weekend and the time has come for us to have to officially move out and make way for the new owner. We started packing just this week and it's got me thinking . . . all of Mike and I's major milestones have been in the fall. We were married in September, Molly was born in November, Kate arrived in October and now we are moving our family into our new home!
It's my absolute favorite time of the year - so I'm feeling pretty lucky . . .
While packing today I thought of the TOP REASONS TO MOVE IN THE FALL:
9.) Driving between houses during moving process - will get amazing scenery of the beautiful fall foliage!!
8.) Savings on heating/air conditioning with all the windows doors open while moving furniture in and out.
7.) You still have time to get spring bulbs into the ground in your new home!
6.) No need to worry about icy roads (winter) or your candles melting (summer) during the move.
5.) Friends are available and offer to help as it's not summer vacation season.
4.) Our kids are too distracted with their fall birthdays coming up to worry about why our home is being packed away!
3.) Year - end tax breaks!
2.) You get to add pumpkins to your new front porch!
1.) And the absolute #1 reason it's awesome to move in the fall - APPLE BOXES!!!! Our cars and house all smell like honey crisp apples! The grocery stores have been so generous with saving them for us and they are THE BEST BOXES for packing!! They are sturdy and come with their own stuffing on both the top and bottom!!

There's No Place Like Home . . .
Mike & Molly went to the Royals game with her friend McKinley and her Daddy Sunday afternoon. While they were gone I decided to dress Kate up in Molly's old Dorothy Halloween costume that Molly wore when she was the same age.
Kate loved it, especially the sparkly red shoes!

Don't You Ever Grow Up . . .
Sometimes when I look at Molly I have that Taylor Swift song in my head, "Oh darling, don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, just stay this little . . ." This morning, watching her walk around the house in this ensemble, her butterfly wings on so she could 'fly' and wearing my hot pink high heels . . . was one of those moments.

Preschool Open House/Spaghetti Night!
Molly was so excited to show us her classroom tonight at her school and see all her friends at the Spaghetti Fundraiser!
We LOVE Molly's teachers this year - they are super creative and so fun and energetic! They had the kids artwork posted all over the room as well as their personal journals at their desks for us to browse through. Can you guess which painting below is Molly's

Molly was so excited to show Kate everything - especially the "work" station where they have a laptop computer, pencils, calculator, rulers, pens, etc.
Lots of windows in the room, as it's a corner room - and every window
was filled with artwork from the children . . .

Afterwards we joined our friends for spaghetti downstairs . . .
Molly, Ellie & Kate started a kids table of their own!

A Baby Strolling Her Baby
Kate loves her babies. She takes care of them all day long - feeding them, napping with them, strolling them, telling them No, No, etc. She is such a love bug.
