Cafe' Gratitude.

Found my new favorite spot to eat at in Kansas City!  Cafe' Gratitude in the Crossroads District!  I can't believe it's been open for a year and I just ate there for the first time - it is AMAZING!

Their whole concept is local, organic, vegan - served and made with love - eating to be healthy.  Just my cup of tea - literally! It started in San Fransisco and a KC native was traveling there for work and begged them to let her open one here in KC.  I was curious as to how it could be delicious with NO dairy!  But - I promise you, my friend Kami and I tried an appetizer and 2 entrees and each got dessert and EVERYTHING was DELICOUS!  I mean - REALLY delicious!

I have known Kami since we were littles - growing up together in McPherson . . . and so thankful she introduced me to my new favorite place!

Here was my dessert - chocolate coconut pie.  Amazing!  Let me know if you want to join me anytime at my new favorite spot in Kansas City!!

View of a Little Sister Waiting on Her Big Sister in Dance Class . . .

I'm tired. I skipped my nap for this???  Seriously???

There she is . . . my BIG sister.  God, I love her.  She is the coolest thing since frozen bananas.

I thinks she might see me!!  She's looking my way!

OMG - she is coming this way!  I'm SO excited - I might fall backwards OR poop my diaper!!

Finally, my sister is back and we can all be together!!!!

{LOVE}

Molly's Dance Class

Molly's Dance Class this week - Rapunzel was the theme so she got to dress up and wear a long braided wig - which she thought was so fun!  They learned a dance to the music in the movie - it was adorable!

Kate's Rainbow.

Molly helps me make Kate's baby food and we noticed the other day it looked like a rainbow!

{l-r, red peppers, carrots, sweet potato, yellow pepper, peas, green beans, blueberries}

Kate - Where are You Going???

Kate is officially crawling and she is extremely curious about EVERYTHING now that she can get around on her own!  Here is just a tiny glimpse of 4 minutes of our day today.

Farmer's Market!

It's finally late enough in the summer that fresh fruit and produce are popping up at the Farmer's Market from local farmers!  The girls and I were so excited to check it out this morning and get some fresh peaches, tomatoes, and basil!

We met Gretchen and Andrew there!
Andrew LOVES to eat sweet peppers raw - so he was in heaven!

Molly picked out a fresh peach to eat!

It was HOT - but we found a cool place in the shade to have a snack -

Pool Time!

We took Kate swimming for her first time on Saturday!  She LOVED the water as much as Molly does.  However, she is SO active - that she didn't like the starfish bubble very much.  She was trying to climb out of it!  Her little legs kept coming up out of the holes to get out.

Molly brought her Baby Chloe

She loved being dunked in the water!

Drying off . . .

We went straight from the pool out to our favorite Mexican restaurant for tacos!  Mommy and Daddy were still wearing our swimsuits!

Love Love Love Summertime . . .

Princess Rocket Ship!

Grandpa Pat built Molly & Kate a Princess Rocket Ship out of the big box his lawn mower came in recently!  He and Grandma Pat delivered it to Clark Drive this week and the girls could hardly wait to start playing in it!  It has Princess decals all over it - and he also included some extra decals for Molly to put on herself!

It has a "telescope" on it and three "steering wheels" . . .

Going for a ride!

Grandpa also built this cool lever that has tension in it - to make the rocket ship go fast, slow or stop! The wheels actually turn! So cool!

He even put in a laminate wood floor in the bottom of the "ship!"

Kate has had enough of not being able to be the one to steer!

Finally, Kate's turn!  Check out the baby "car seat" he added to the side for Minnie . . .
So very cool, Grandpa!  Thank you soo much for making this for the girls!

Dance Class

Little Mermaid Week - Molly LOVED dancing to all the fun songs!

Kate tried to get one of the younger dancers to play with her instead of participating in the class . . .
