Molly's Nightly Routine with her "Babies"

After she changes their diapers, tucks them in, and give them a drink of her milk - she "reads" them a few books . . .
Recently she also started singing Baby Mine while she rocks. She is VERY serious when she sings to them and sometimes we have to leave the room so she does not see us laughing. When she hits the high notes of the song her nostrils flare a little . . .
She sometimes will rock all her babies individually - but other times, like last night - she will rock them all together - as many as she can fit in her arms . . . .
Good night, sweet babies - Baby Emilie, Baby GoGo, George, and Baby Elmo. Sweet dreams!

Feeding the ducks . . .

To celebrate the last day of August, we played ALL morning at the park with friends! Max's mom shared bread with us to feed the ducks! It was hot but we had a great time!
Bring on September (my FAVORITE month of the year!)!!

Date Nights!

Me and the hubs went out Saturday night . . . I've always loved spending time alone with this amazing man . . . but when you have a little one who depends on you for everything - they take an extra special twist. Our babysitter must think we are giddy high-school kids when we run (literally) out of the house, jump in the car, and put in "our" music!!

Rockin' Rob Birthday Party!

The first two of Molly's friends turned 2 this week! Molly has been friends with these kids since they were just a few months old - so it's crazy to see them all becoming toddlers! Jacob & Marshall decided to combine their birthday celebrations into one party and have it on Wednesday morning during our regular playgroup time at Marshall's house (just a few blocks from our house).
The theme on the invitation was Rock On! But little did we know that they were going to have Rockin Rob in person with his guitar at the party!!! Molly went nuts! You might remember when we first heard Rockin' Rob at the Farmer's Market this summer . . .
There were lots of kiddos at the party, but as you can see - the girls were the only ones dancing - I guess it stars early!
Molly (and I) had a blast shaking our booties up in front!
Molly had fun dancing with her good friend, Ainslie!

Colorado!

We flew to Colorado last week to visit my sister Sarah and her family in Breckenridge! We had a fabulous 4 day visit and my niece, Isabella, is 2 1/2 - so needless to say Molly and she had a BLAST playing together!

Sooooo wish we lived closer. Love love love them!! Here's a video I put together from the trip because there were just TOO MANY good photos to narrow down for the blog!! Make sure to turn off the music at the bottom of this page so you can hear the music in the video!

Here are a few extra pix I couldn't resist posting as well . . . miss you sis!!
